Position Summary: 

Analyze performance of Operations and facilitate improvement. Apply basic techniques of process engineering, agile development, scientific method, data mining & statistical analysis. Collect feedback from business partners, evaluate current processes and assess their effectiveness. Assist with management of account inventory, collection activity and customer data. Test to ensure accounts receive appropriate and profitable treatment, and to ensure compliance with applicable regulations or policies. Understand PRA systems & processes, recommend improvements, manage backlog of IT requests, convey requirements to the IT agile teams and test their work against acceptance criteria. Troubleshoot issues as they occur, identify root cause and effect remediation. Liaise with vendors and with other departments including IT, Operations, Legal Recoveries, Bankruptcy, General Counsel, Acquisitions, Compliance & Finance.
Key Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Apply plan-do-check-act method of iterative improvement to our operational activities including through partnership with IT
  • Working with data:  analysis, mining, testing, troubleshooting & reporting
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify, prioritize and achieve improvements in profitability, compliance, productivity & data quality
  • Hands on day to day execution of strategy whether directly or acting as Product Owner for IT agile development teams

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  • Four year degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years related experience
  • Proficiency with data, SQL will be used on the job

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office environment, in an individual work station, using telephone and computer.  Employee may be required to work evenings and weekends.
