Position Summary: 



This position acts as organizational development liaison and advisor to leadership and facilitates the delivery of key initiatives across the Company. The Organization Development Manager provides strategic organizational consulting to help leaders improve performance and culture, build capability, and achieve long-term success through talent and organization development. Designs, implements and evaluates professional and organizational development programs that strengthen individual and organizational capabilities to execute strategic business objectives.
  • Manages and supports the assessment of leadership and team needs, and designs, implements and evaluates programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of team members, particularly leadership and emerging leaders.
  • Administers talent management processes such as talent reviews, succession planning, talent development options and programs, coaching and performance management.
  • Provides consultative solutions to key business functions to enhance the effectiveness of leaders, employees and teams: acts as internal consultant to business leaders to provide performance improvement solutions; facilitates organizational development projects.
  • Builds trust and collaborates with teams in a global and virtual environment, partners effectively with HR Business Partners and leaders across the company to transfer knowledge and skills and provide scalable programs for the company.
  • Develops and maintains various OD interventions to support and align team effectiveness as a critical component of business effectiveness.  Manages the individual development planning process for executives and emerging leaders.
  • Leads, designs and oversees organizational development efforts to enhance bench strength and the retention of key talent through talent management and leadership development.  Evaluates strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals.
  • Designs and structures organizational assessments that fit the situation and scope of the transformation challenge; experience with research, exploration, education, hypothesis formation.  Conducts needs assessments, designs processes and interventions; facilitates off sites and team building for new and existing teams.
  • Recommends changes and adjustments to continually align performance management with learning and development.



Professional Experience/Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s Degree preferred) in HR, Industrial Organizational Psychology, or related field. 
  • Minimum 7 years demonstrated results in leadership, staff and organizational development including at least 2 years of management experience.
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • In-depth experience with Change Management, Organizational Development, Performance Management, Talent Management and Learning and Development.
  • Experience in diagnosing organizational problems/challenges, then developing and implementing appropriate solutions.
  • A track record of success in managing large scale programs/processes to develop leaders and associates across multiple functions & divisions across the globe.
  • Ability to understand & articulate the strategic value of TM tools/processes.
  • Excellent writing & communication skills & ability to synthesize information into clear concise messages.
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to influence senior management.  Ability to develop and maintain highly effective relationships, externally and internally.
  • Understanding of enterprise software solutions (i.e. Cornerstone, Success Factors, SAP, Excel, PPT, Adobe Captivate, Articulate, e-learning authoring tools, Workday, etc.).
  • Solid sense of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ability to operate individually and employing solid decision-making skills.
  • Travel as necessary, to other sites for the purpose of conducting training or gaining competencies.
