Position Summary: 

The Compensation Analyst will conduct analysis and then create and review materials related to the assessment, evaluation and ongoing delivery of all compensation programs, including some or all of base pay, incentive compensation plans, short-term and long-term incentives, executive compensation and recognition plans.
  • Assist in developing, documenting and maintaining compensation policies and procedures
  • Provide support and guidance to HR Business Partners with compensation-related issues
  • Participate in compensation surveys through job content analysis for matching survey jobs, data collection, survey submission and results analysis
  • Work with HRIS to ensure the efficient integration of compensation processes and that all pertinent data is appropriately stored and maintained in Workday
  • Manages tools and technologies to support efficiency and perform analytics to help managers through compensation decisions
  • Perform job evaluations for new and existing jobs
  • Support the annual merit process within Workday, ensuring budget compliance
  • Assist with reviews of equity, annual bonus and the Proxy
  • Ensure pay practices are competitive within our industry and compliant with all federal and state requirements (i.e., FLSA, minimum wage)
  • Assist in designing communication materials and communicate compensation plans, policies and procedures to a variety of audiences

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance or related fields required plus 2 to 4 years of compensation related experience
  • CCP or course work completed towards CCP preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; advanced Excel skills are a must
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail and well organized
  • Experience with HR systems; Workday preferred
  • High regard for customer service and the protection of confidential information 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and internal customers
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
