Position Summary: 



The Operations Business Analyst will support and assist the Operations Project Manager with managing all quality assurance and audit functions of the core business operations department. This role will support management by providing direction to all quality assurance analysts and other support staff.Daily and Key Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):


Conducts thorough reviews of Operations processes, procedures, flows, controls and develop internal audits to assess and mitigate risk

Reviews and analyzes audit results, then report results, findings and make recommendations for more effective and efficient processes to Management via approved communication methods

Facilitate daily, weekly, monthly work assignments to Quality Assurance (QA) Analysts. Assists in managing the development of the Analysts by providing structure and guidance in day-to-day operations; Monitor and report on the Analyst’s development and work with management to document situations that may result in corrective action

Assists management with activities involving quality assurance and compliance relative to applicable regulatory and business requirements

Builds and maintains rapport with operations stakeholders to develop deeper understanding of processes and workflow

Provides routine progress reports on current projects and prioritizes new projects accordingly

Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly audits for business operations and identifies any inconsistencies and discrepancies (from audit findings)

Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies across areas of organizational responsibility

Desired Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, statistics, finance, or related area required.
  • Three to five years of experience with process audits and/or reconciliations.
  • Ability to perform research, analyze information according to business requirements, then capture and report findings.
  • Effective and influential communicator with the ability to communicate information concisely and in all professional business formats.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
  • Previous accounting/financial/banking industry experience strongly preferred.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office environment, in an individual work station, using telephone and computer.  Employee is required to work evenings and weekends as required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
