Position Summary: 

The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the coordination of post action cost analyses, pre-project budgeting reports, tracking of projects and related administrative duties to include filing and/or submitting documents in accordance to Facilities procedures and policies in a timely manner.
  • Assist AVP & VP in coordinating activities of Facilities Dept. including new build and space management projects with drawings utilizing AutoCAD, daily operations,project tracking and allocating space/budgets with respective business units.
  • Assists with project reporting and pre/post-project analysis
  • Participates in the security of the NHO campus by providing trained observation to the facility, access monitoring, and response to alerts such as door props, alarms, denied access and other needs.
  • Ability to make critical decisions in response to emergent situations, with limited oversight, as it pertains to the facilities and respond to facility emergencies in the absence of the Manager. Communicate delays/advances in projects, daily operations and maintenance, when needed.
  • Identify needs/problems around the facility with a proactive approach. Maintains knowledge of current best practices in security and facilities operations, observe and report, identifying waste needing secure shredding, access, and escorting of vendors. Monitors and inspects buildings and premises for fire, security and safety issues.

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent years of experience.
  • AutoCAD certificate required
  • At least 2 years of experience in facilities administration and personnel management.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety.

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed outside and inside an office environment with telephones, printers and personal computers in operation. The position may involve some physical work such as pushing, crawling or lifting. The employee will be required to successfully interact with diverse group of employees, clients and management team to perform tasks and complete assigned work.

  • Employee may be required to operate a Company vehicle. Motor vehicle driving record may be run upon hire and annually thereafter to determine satisfactory driving record in accordance with Company policy. Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
