Position Summary: 



The PRA Information Technology Team is aggressively pursuing best-of-class technology to stabilize, enhance, and future-proof the enterprise.
The Global CIO is driving a technology stack that uses DEVOPS tooling to deliver robust CI/CD capability which is optimized via Agile and Lean Framework methodologies.
Regardless of duty assignment, all members of the Systems Engineering’s App Support Team will have an opportunity to individually learn and professionally grow by exploring technology areas such as: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, CircleCI, Infrastructure as Code, Test Driven Development, and much more.
Key Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Provide second tier support for applications developed by PRA IT
  • Respond to production issues/emergencies during business hours and off hours according to agreed upon SLA’s
  • Report and communicate production issues to the appropriate individuals
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide technical solutions to production related application errors
  • Monitor routine and critical processes and workflows and proactively identify problem trends
  • Assist with application implementations and configuration
  • Assist with documenting technical and business processes including technical guides
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies across areas of organizational responsibility


Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field required.
  • Up to 2 years of experience
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting
  • Experience of Windows platforms
  • Understanding of web technology 
  • Understanding of SQL Server or Oracle database management systems
  • Client focused and support orientated
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal


Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office environment, in an individual work station, using telephone and computer.  Employee is required to work evenings and weekends as required.
